The 2019 Grammy Awards just got a lot more interesting to Kpop fans!
On February 4 local time, Variety published an exclusive report in which they state that BTS will be attending the awards show, as presenters.
“Variety confirmed with sources that K-pop sensations BTS will be presenting an award at the show.”
After the report made its way to the internet, ARMY went wild and began waiting for the confirmation from Big Hit Entertainment.
Not too long after the exclusive report, Big Hit Entertainment responded to the reports confirming that BTS will be indeed attending the Grammys to present an award.
BTS’s 2018 album “Love Yourself: Tear” is nominated for Best Recording Package category, the award is given to the art directors of the album as recognition of the visual look of the album. The company behind the Grammy-nominated album is HuskyFox.
The 2019 Grammy Awards will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 10 (local time) on CBS.
After the news of confirmation came out, ARMY officially lost it. #BTSxGRAMMYs trended worldwide at number one surpassing a million tweets.
The fandom celebrated yet another huge milestone, becoming the first EVER Kpop group to attend the Grammy Awards.
