Lee Sora’s “Song Request” Featuring BTS’s Suga Is A Huge Hit


Lee Sora had suddenly teased fans announcing she’s releasing a track titled “Song Request” featuring BTS’s Suga, the track is composed by Epik High’s Tablo and DEE.P, and the lyrics were written by Tablo and Suga.

The song was released on January 22 along with its music video, as of January 23rd at 01:30 am. KST the song topped almost all of major real-time charts; it took the number one spot on Melon, Genie, Bugs, and Soribada, Mnet and the number two spot on Naver.

The song also topped 44 countries in iTunes singles charts, less than a day after its release the song topped the iTunes singles charts in Brazil, Mexico, Sweden, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, and many more.

This makes “Song Request” veteran singer Lee Sora highest charting song on iTunes singles charts since her debut back in 1993.


Tablo was extremely happy with the track success domestically and overseas, he took to Twitter to express his gratitude, he said,

“It’s a song everyone worked hard on for a long time, thank you for listening to it a lot.”

He also promised to greet fans with a new album through Epik High soon.
