The topic of Lisa being discriminated and receiving some very hurtful racist comments by some netizens had been a trending topic for the international BLINK community.
Fans trended the hashtag #RespectLisa and shared various messages of love and support for the amazing dancer who came to South Korea to follow her dreams and become an idol.
As reported previously, GOT7 BamBam told some reporters that Lisa was aware of the racist comments but assured fans she was doing fine.
BLACKPINK are currently touring the world for their first EVER solo concert, their first stop was in Lisa’s home country Thailand.
During the second day of the concert in Thailand, Jennie took time to indirectly address those remarks and assure fans they’re taking good care of Lisa, she said that she has been staying strong and that fans have nothing to worry about since BLACKPINK will be taking good care of her.
Jennie said,
“You guys should be very proud of our Lisa because she has been positive and strong… I wanted to say this in your hometown.
Its okay, we’ll take good care of Lisa wherever we go.”
Jennie hugged Lisa and so did the rest of the members who took her by their side while Jennie said the sweet assuring message to fans.
