GOT7 fans were pleasantly surprised when they found out that JB, Jinyoung, and Yugyeom were among the attendees of MAMA in Japan, they also ended up taking home “Worldwide Fans’ Choice Top 10.”
However, a question that popped in everyone’s minds was ‘where are the rest of GOT7 members?’
Initially, 2018 MAMA announced the lineup of Japan event and GOT7 name wasn’t mentioned, they were supposed to guest on the final day on December 14 in Hong Kong.
However, to the pleasant surprise of many igot7’s JB, Jinyoung, and Yugyeom showed up and even had a special stage with MONSTA X and TWICE.
It seems that the decision of having GOT7 join the party was a decision made at the last minute, BamBam went on VLive to interact with fans on December 12 during the 2018 MAMA and revealed that he wasn’t in the set of performers when asked why wasn’t he in Japan, he said,
“Because I’m NOT on that stage. I’m in ANOTHER stage. I can’t tell you guys… just wait for the D-Day, wait for MAMA you know; we’re ready for MAMA right now!”
Fans also talked about the possibility that other GOT7 members are busy with individual schedules.
I am just happy that GOT7 walked away with an award tonight! Can’t wait to see their stage on December 14.
