Some BIGBANG Fans Aren’t Happy About Female Idols Performing “Flower Road” At 2018 SBS Gayo Daejeon

There has been a debate going on for a bit of time now!

Recently it was revealed that 2018 SBS Gayo Daejeon will feature four female idols from different groups and they will be performing the hit 2018 BIGBANG song “Flower Road.”

The news was met with two contrasting reactions from VIPs (BIGBANG fandom), some loved the idea while others not so much!

Some of the fandom thought that the idea was disrespectful but weren’t mad at the idols who will sing it.

TWICE’s Dahyun, Apink’s Bomi, GFRIEND’s Eunha and MAMAMOO’s Moonbyul are the four female idols who will be singing the song.

Its important to point out that the fandom isn’t directing their dissatisfaction towards the girls but towards the production behind 2018 SBS Gayo Daejeon, arguing that the boys haven’t yet performed this song live for their fans and choosing this particular song was a disservice to both the group and their fans.

The meaning behind “Flower Road” is the reason, Gdragon wrote this song inspired by his fans, it was a goodbye song by the group to their fans, four BIGBANG members enlisted in the military earlier this year and dedicated this song for their fans.

Since the song has such a deep meaning and a special place in VIPs hearts, some were against the performance of this particular song and cited that there were countless BIGBANG songs the girls can perform instead of this particular one.

Here are some of the fans reactions:
