Korean Experts Split On Whether E’Dawn Can Establish A Successful Solo Career On His Own Or Not

Following the official confirmation of the inevitable, fans and experts have been discussing E’Dawn’s future and whether he’d be able to lead a successful solo career on his own or not.

Sports Seoul, a Korean news outlet, published an interview with various experts in the Kpop industry who shared their opinions on the possibility of E’Dawn’s success in the future.

One expert spoke positively about the probability of his success, the expert stated,

“E’Dawn is the main rapper of his group. His rap skills aren’t bad for an idol and his performances skills during Pentagon were at the top. His songwriting skills are also not bad. He still has a lot to show.”

Another expert said,

“I think its important that he promotes as a solo artist or in another group for some time. He needs the opportunity to gather his separated fandom. It won’t be easy for him to rise as an artist if he isn’t given the turning point or a chance such as that of an audition program, variety show, etc. Its also important he finds an agency that can fully support him.”

However, not every expert is optimistic about E’Dawn’s future, a 3rd expert said,

“First, it won’t be easy for him to find an agency to work with. There are some in the public who still support him, but from an agency point of view, he’s done a damaging act for his formal label. It won’t be easy for someone to decide they want to work with him.

With his public relationship to HyunA, he lost his fans but gained the public. His recently launched instagram account already has more than 616K followers because of his girlfriend’s active sharing (tagging in photos).

However, they are not his loyal fans. As of now, most of his fans come from Japan and overseas. It won’t be easy for him to plan something in Korea immediately.”

What do you think about E’Dawn’s future?
