12 Upcoming Kdramas Airing In November 2018

2018 is drawing to a close but that doesn’t mean that kdrama are, while some of the popular kdramas have ended their run last week, more are coming this week and for the rest of November.

So here are 12 kdramas premiering in November 2018

“It’s My Life”

The upcoming drama is about an ordinary man named Yang Nam Jin (Park Yoon Jae) who lives in the countryside with his mother, he gets the chance to change his life.

“It’s My Life” takes over the KBS1 Monday through Friday 20:25 time slot previously occupied by “Sunny Again Tomorrow.”

The leading cast includes Park Yoon Jae, Seo Hyo Rim, Kang Tae Sung, and Jin Ye Sol.

“Feel Good To Die”

The upcoming kdrama is about a boss Baek Jin Sang (Kang Ji Hwan) and assistant manager Lee Roo Da (Baek Jin Hee), she is determined to change her boss to the better.

She doesn’t like the boss since he’s mean and arrogant to everybody around him, he also always believes he’s right all the time.

One night on April 14, she dreams her boss was hit by a truck, the next morning she wakes up to find its still April 14.





“Happy If You Died” takes over “The Ghost Detective” time slot. It will air on November 7, 10 p.m. KST.

The leading cast includes: Kang Ji Hwan, Baek Jin Hee, Gong Myung and Ryoo Hyoun Kyoung.

“Red Moon Blue Sun”

The upcoming kdrama is about a woman Cha Woo Kyung (Kim Sun A) who works at a children’s center. She is the perfect wife and has a perfect life, her husband is gentle and a real man. She is carrying her second child.

An accident occurs that changes her life, she starts to investigate and dig up the truth.

Meanwhile, Kang Ji Hun (Lee Yi Kyung) is a detective who firmly believes criminals should be punished by the full extent of the law. He holds pain inside which comes from his dark past.





The leading cast includes Kim Sun Ah, Lee Yi Kyung, Nam Gyu Ri and many others.

“Red Moon Blue Sun” will take over MBC’s Wednesday & Thursday 22:00 time slot previously occupied by “Terius Behind Me” and will air its first episode on November 21st.

“A Promise with the Gods”

The upcoming MBC drama is about two married couples who choose to throw away all ethics and morals to save their dying children.

The leading cast includes: Han Chae Young, Bae Soo Bin, Oh Yoon Ah, and Lee Chun Hee

“A Promise with the Gods” will air after the conclusion of “Hide and Seek” on November 24 at 9 p.m. KST.

“Bad Detective”

The upcoming drama is about a lonely veteran detective Woo Tae Seok (Shin Ha Kyun) who crosses paths with a female psychopath (Lee Seol), he struggles to make an arrest because he lacks evidence. Eventually, the two team up to solve cases.

The leading cast includes: Shin Ha Kyun, Baro, Lee Seol and Park Ho San

“Bad Detective” will take over MBC’s Monday & Tuesday 20:00 time slot previously occupied by “Bad Papa” and air its first episode on November 26.

“The Last Empress”

The upcoming drama is set in the present day but under the premise that South Korea is ruled by a constitutional monarchy.

It tells the story of Oh Ssu Ni (Jang Na Ra) a musical actress with a bright personality. Unexpectedly, she marries Emperor Lee Hyuk (Shin Sung Rok).

There she goes up against the power and fights for justice.

She falls in love with Na Wang Sik (Choi Jin Hyuk) who work as the bodyguard of the imperial family. He came carrying a revenge plan on the person responsible for his mother’s death.





Following the death of Emperor Lee Hyuk’s grandmother, Oh Ssu Ni breaks down the royal family with the help of Na Wang Sik and finds true love.

The leading cast includes: Jang Na Ra, Choi Jin Hyuk, Shin Sung Rok, Lee Elliya and Shin Eun Kyung.

“The Last Empress” will take over SBS’ Wednesday & Thursday 22:00 time slot previously occupied by “Heart Surgeons” and air its first episode on November 21st.

“Hymn Of Death”

The upcoming drama tells the story of Korea’s first soprano Yun Sim Deok, the drama was named “Hymn of Death” after her most popular songs. It will differ from the previous musical and film adaptation and focus on the tragic love story between Yun Sim Deok and playwright Kim Woo Jin, it will also be focusing on the work of Kim Woo Jin, something that hasn’t been focused much on before.

Lee Jong Suk is taking on the role of Kim Woo Jin, the genius playwright. Shin Hye Sun will play the role of Yun Sim Deok, the first Korean female soprano.

Lee Ji Hoon will play the role of Hong Nan Pa, a close friend of Kim Woo Jin (to be played by Lee Jong Suk) and Yun Sim Deok. Lee Sang Yeob will take on the role of Yun Sim Deok’s (Shin Hye Sun) fiancée Kim Hong Ki, he is the son of a wealthy family.





It will be directed by PD Park Soo Jin who previously worked on many hit dramas such as “Doctors” and “While You Were Asleep.”

The drama began filming in mid-April and finished shortly after.

The drama is scheduled to air after SBS’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Where Stars Land” air its last episode. The drama will premiere on November 27.

“God’s Quiz 5”

This is the fifth installment of the OCN drama after four years of absence.

It tells the story of Han Jin Woo (Ryu Deok Hwan) who gets involved with an unexpected case and returns to the medical examiner office after 4 years.

The leading cast includes Ryu Duk Hwan, Yoon Joo Hee, Park Jun Myun and many others.

“God’s Quiz 5” will take over the OCN’s Wednesday & Thursday 23:00 time slot previously occupied by “The Guest.”

“Priest”

The upcoming drama is about a young Catholic priest called Oh Soo Min (Yeon Woo Jin). He is a member 643 Regia. The group performs exorcisms unofficially.

In the past, his own mother was possessed by a devil. She could not receive an exorcism and she consequently died.

He was taught by Priest Moon Ki Sun (Park Yong Woo) on how to perform exorcisms. Moon Ki Sun is the person who formed 643 Regia.

Meanwhile, Ham Eun Ho (Jung Yoo Mi) became a doctor after her family went through an unfortunate accident.





She works in the hospital to save lives, there she meets Oh Soo Min, she doesn’t believe a God exists but goes through supernatural events.

The leading cast includes Yun Woo Jin, Jung Yoo Mi, Park Yong Woo and many others.

“Priest” will takes over the OCN Saturday & Sunday 22:20 time slot previously occupied by “The Player” and will air its first episode on November 21st.

“Mama Fairy And The Woodcutter”

The upcoming drama tells the story of a fairy named Sun Ok Nam who came to the world and took a bath at a waterfall on Gyeryong Mountain back in Goryeo period.

A woodcutter took her fairy clothes and hid them, thus she couldn’t go back to heaven. She married the woodcutter and they have two children together but he dies after falling off of a cliff.

She tries to find the fairy clothes but fails so she decides to wait for her husband to be reincarnated. In the present day she makes coffee at a cafe on Gyeryong Mountain and waits for her reincarnated husband.





Finally, after 699 years, she gets a feeling that one of the two men visiting her cafe from Seoul is her reincarnated husband. Sun Ok Nam is not sure which one of the two men is her husband. She heads to Seoul to find out.

The leading cast includes Moon Chae Won, Yoon Hyun Min, Seo Ji Hoon and Kang Mi Na.

“Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter” will take over tvN’s Monday & Tuesday 21:30 time slot previously occupied by “100 Days My Prince.” It will premiere on November 5 at 9 p.m. KST.

“Boyfriend”

“Boyfriend” tells the story of a single mother named Cha Soo Hyun (Song Hye Kyo) who is the daughter of a big politician. She married a wealthy heir but later divorced and Kim Jin Hyuk (Park Bo Gum) who is an innocent young man that meets the heiress and they fall in love.

Kim Jin Hyuk keeps failing at finding a stable job at the companies he wishes to go to. He takes a trip and there he meets Cha Soo Hyun. However, he is content with his life and happy with what he has. He finds happiness in the smallest things.





Cha Soo Hyun is an unhappy human being who was never once able to make a decision herself, she was always told what do and how to behave because she comes from a classy family.

The leading cast includes: Song Hye Kyo, Park Bo Gum, Go Chang Suk, Cha Hwa Yeon, Moon Sung Geun, Man Ki Ae, Shin Jung Geun, Baek Ji Won, Kwak Sun Young Block B’s P.O, Jang Seung Jo and many others.

“Boyfriend” will premiere on November 28, after “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes” concludes its run.

“Clean With Passion For Now”

“Clean With Passion For Now” is based on the popular webtoon drama about a man named Jang Sun Kyul (Yoon Gyun Sang), a man with good looks and a fortune who suffers from severe mysophobia.

Jang Sun Kyul is so obsessed with cleaning that he owns a cleaning company. His life changes when he meets a carefree and untidy girl named Gil Oh Sol (Kim Yoo Jung) who gets hired in his company; they fall in love and change each other’s lives.

Song Jae Rim will play a role that is unique and not found in the original webtoon.

The leading cast includes: Kim Yoo Jung, Yoon Kyun Sang, Song Jae Rim

“Clean With Passion For Now” will take over the JTBC Monday & Tuesday 21:30 time slot previously occupied by “The Beauty Inside.” The first episode will air on November 26.
