Another day, another milestone broken by BTS!
Billboard was able to confirm that BTS’s recent MV “IDOL” is the fastest music video of 2018 to reach the 100 million views, a YouTube representative confirmed.
According to a YouTube representative, the feat took “under 6 days” it was released back on August 24 at 6 p.m. KST.
“IDOL” has already earned the title of the most viewed music video in the first 24 hours surpassing Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do,” which exceeded 43.2 million views in a day.
“IDOL” is the second fastest Korean music video to reach the 100 million views ever, PSY’s “Gentleman” reached the 100 million views on its fourth day.
The group has recently made a comeback on August 24 with their repackage album “Love Yourself: Answer.”
