I have some great news to share with fans that are eager to see Park Bo Young back on the small screen.
On August 16, it was announced that Park Bo Young will be starring the new tvN drama titled “Abyss.”
“Abyss” tells the story of a beautiful female prosecution lawyer and a less attractive guy. Their lives changes through an abyss, they return with two completely different looks, their romance and way of living changes.
Park Bo Young is taking on the role of the prosecutor who goes through this process; she tries to find out the secret behind the abyss and discovers true love in the process.
Park Bo Young revealed the reason why she picked this particular project, she said,
“While I was reading through scenarios of many projects recent, I decided to star in this drama because I enjoyed the unique situation and charming characters.”
Park Bo Young will return to the big screen in “Your Wedding,” a romantic comedy opposite Kim Young Kwang. She was said to have been looking through offers for her comeback drama.
Fans have fell in love with Park Bo Young when they saw her in many productions such as “Oh My Ghostess” back in 2015. Her 2017 hit JTBC drama “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon” gained her new fans, she portrayed the strong tiny girl perfectly.
“Abyss” is set to air in the first half of 2019. It is written by Moon Soo Yun who had previously worked on two seasons of tvN’s “Rude Miss Young Ae.”
Fans are now curious to see who will be sharing the screen as the leading man next to Park Bo Young.
