It seems like some Pentagon fans are turning their back on their oppas because of the recent dating rumors involving three of the group members.
Hundreds of fans have cancelled their tickets to the upcoming Pentagon’s fan club opening event citing the idols dating news as the main reason for the cancellation.
The event is going to be held at Sejong University at August 11, it aims to celebrate the establishment of the group’s official fan club.
Pentagon’s E’Dawn and HyunA have confirmed they were dating on August 3rd, Hui and (G)I-DLE’s Soojin also confirmed they used to date but have broken up, Yuto and CLC’s Yeeun were rumored to be dating, Cube Entertainment had denied the rumors and stated that they were simply friends.
The group has been given a very rude title, fans are calling them the rookie group with 3 dating scandals in one day and many are not happy with these dating news.
Some fans think that its not a sin but the idols should focus on their careers at the moment instead of their love lives.
Some fans are cursing Cube Entertainment and are calling them bad at managing their artists. All of the 3 couples involved in dating news were of their agency which doesn’t put Cube Entertainment in a good position.
International fans are calling this a test and a cleansing process saying that the weak ‘not so real’ fans are those who are leaving.
