Rumors have it that Lee Jong Suk is returning with a new drama soon.

A report on August 24 claimed that Lee Jong Suk is positively considering an offer to lead the upcoming drama “Younger” a remake of the American TV show with the same title.

The drama is reported to be directed by Kim Seong Yoon who had previously worked on the hit 2016 drama “Moonlight Drawn by the Clouds.” The drama was in talks to air on JTBC.

The character he might play will be called Kang Hyun Oh, he is a freelance book designer who loves vintage fashion a lot. He is a man with a free spirit and has a bright personality but he hides secrets no one knows about.

The American TV Show “Younger” is based on a 2005 novel with the same title by Pamela Redmond Satran. The series aired its first episode in March, 2015 and had received a lot of positive reviews from critics and fans.

The drama will reportedly be completely pre-produced and will air in February 2019 around the same time he might be enlisting in the military.

However, his agency refuted the report. They said that nothing has been set in stone yet.

Turns out he was considering another drama called “Romance Supplement” rather than “Younger,” it might be his future project. It is written by Jung Hyun Jung who had previous written “Discovery of Love” and “I need Romance.” It will tell the story of love between people in their 30s.

They also added that the enlistment date of the actor hasn’t been decided yet.

However, fans are unsure how to feel about this.

During his recent fan meeting he talked about being burned out and about losing his passion for acting while crying. He also told fans,

“I won’t ask you guys to wait for me. If there are people who are better than me.”

He also added,

“I can’t enjoy acting as much as I used to.”

Lee Jong Suk was born in 1989 and according to the new Korean law; he must enlist before 2018 ends. Highlight’s Yoon Doo Joon also enlisted today after he received his summon suddenly, he wasn’t able to finish his drama and he had to terminate his contract sooner than expected.

Fans don’t want the same to happen to Lee Jong Suk, there is an issue of when will he start shooting for the drama and what will happen if he suddenly received his summon.

How do you feel about this? Would you like to see Lee Jong Suk in a drama before he enlists?
