BTS had to make sudden changes to their highly anticipated concert stage because of Typhoon Soulik.

According to insiders on August 23, BTS had taken down stage equipment that was set up for their upcoming Seoul concert at Olympic Stadium which will be held on August 25 and 26.

Typhoon Soulik is affecting the nation, there is heavy rain and strong wind and due to worries about stage equipment collapsing the stage has been taken down.

Big Hit Entertainment representative clarified in a statement to the press,

“We have temporarily taken down the stage for prevention and safety concerns from the typhoon. We have moved the equipment to a safe place.”

They also explained that the concert is going as planned unless something unexpected occurs. Once the rain slows down the stage equipment will be returned.

Typhoon Soulik is such a serious threat that had caused property damage and power outages. More than 6,500 homes have already lost power according to Yonhap News.

According to Accuweather, Seoul will escape the worst of the storm and the high wind and rainfall will last until Friday. The concerts will be held on Saturday and Sunday, so its expected that the concert will go well.
