Song Joong Ki And Kim Ji Won To Reunite As Lovers In The Upcoming Drama “Asadal Chronicles”

After many initial reports, it has finally been confirmed!

The upcoming drama “Asadal Chronicles” has confirmed its cast and its one hella stellar cast.

Song Joong Ki And Kim Ji Won, who were both previously in talks for the drama, are reuniting and taking on the leading roles in the upcoming historical fantasy drama.

The drama is about power, love, and growth that takes place in the city of Asadal, which is said to have been the capital city of the Gojoseon era.

They are joined by Jang Dong Gun and Kim Ok Bin.

Song Joong Ki and Kim Ji Won will playing the roles of Eun Som and Tan Ya respectively while Jang Dong Gun is taking on the role of anti-hero Ta Gon, Kim Ok Bin will play the role of ‘best lifeform on earth.’

“Asadal Chronicles” will be co-written by Kim Young Hyun and Park Sang Yeon of “Tree with Deep Roots” and “Six Flying Dragons.”

The drama will be directed by producing director (PD) Kim Won Suk, who has worked on the productions “Incomplete Life (Misaeng),” “Signal,” and most recently “My Ahjussi.”

Kim Ji Won and Song Joong Ki previously appeared on the KBS 2TV’s popular drama “Descendants of the Sun” and fans are very excited to see them return as lovers for the upcoming drama.

The drama is slated to air next year!
