On July 29, chaebul.com released a list that includes celebrities with the highest value in stock shares in their respective companies. The list shocked people as the long-standing two towers Yang Hyun Suk and Lee Soo Man were no more.
Lee Soo Man had maintained the top spot once again; he ranked in first place with his shares in SM Entertainment. The stock value increased by 25.76 billion won (around $23 million), it is a 16.7% increase; his total stock value came out to be to 179.71 billion won (around $161 million).
The second place went to Park Jin Young this time; he dethroned Yang Hyun Suk from the second place by a good margin. Yang Hyun Suk had long held the second spot. Park Jin Young’s stock value saw the biggest increase, it increased by 58.46 billion won (around $52.4 million), its the biggest out of everyone’s mentioned on the list.
This makes Park Jin Young’s total share value amount to 135.37 billion won (around $121.3 million).
Yang Hyun Suk took the third spot, he saw a 23.7% increase from last year, the stock value increased by 23.65 billion won (around $21.2 million). The total share value came at 123.33 billion won (around $110.5 million).
