The drama aired its first episode three weeks ago and has been charming fans with its interesting plot and magnificent cinematography.

1It Spent More Than 5 Months In Post-Production Phase
The drama is one of the many pre-produced kdramas of 2018, “Are You Human Too?” started filming back in June 30, 2017 and finished late November 2017.
Starting late November the drama footage spent a long time in post-production phase, it aired its first episode on June 4; it almost spent 6 months in the post-production phase.
The plot itself revolves around AI Robots which means that it needs high tech and a lot of money to do it justice. The production team probably had a lot to work on for the period they were given.
2Seo Kang Joon Struggled Finding A Base To Portray His Character
Seo Kang Joon admitted that there was a lot of trial and error while approaching the robot character Nam Shin III in an interview with Ceci Magazine.
“There aren’t a lot of things I could set as the standard for inspiration. I was really confused about how I should approach the role compared to other productions I was a part of until now.
I agonized a lot over how I should act to portray the role better; there was a lot of trial and error.”
Many fans think he’s doing a great job playing two drastically different roles. He did well!
3“Are You Human Too” violent scene caused a ruckus
In the first episode of “Are You, Human, Too,” Nam Shin the hot arrogant chaebol finds one of his bodyguards (played by Gong Seung Yeon) photographing him.
She sells those photos and they circulate online for the entire world to see, When Nam Shin found that out, it didn’t sit well with him.
He causes a commission at the airport and slaps her so hard she falls to the ground. It was revealed that the slap was real and not edited which added to the furry easily butt-hurt fans.
The PD and chief producer of the drama ended up apologizing for the scene. They explained that it was a setup and for that setup, the slap scene was necessary. The PD apologized for the viewers for the scene and promised he’d do better in the future, he also revealed that that type of scene will never be repeated again throughout the drama runtime.
4Gong Seung Yeon and Seo Kang Joon helped each other while filming
Its both actors first time taking on such a big role and in such an expensive production which means that they felt a lot of pressure while preparing for their roles.
Seo Kang Joon admitted that he felt the pressure and tried to do his best because he knew a lot of hardworking people were putting a lot of effort into the drama. He also revealed that his fellow co-star Gong Seung Yeon helped him out while they were filming.
She helped him distinguish between the two characters he was playing at times he struggled to find the difference himself.
Gong Seung Yeon also revealed that she felt humbled by the experience because thought she was given more than she deserved. She said that Seo Kang Joon had good energy.
5Seo Kang Joon Has Two More New Projects Lined Up For 2018
Seo Kang Joon isn’t done with 2018, yet!
The actor was confirmed to be leading the new drama adaptation of the popular webtoon “Something About Us”!
“Something About Us”! tells the story of a sweet campus romance, the webtoon attracted immense popularity during its run from 2014 to 2016.
Its expected to air some time in 2018, he confirmed his appearance in the drama back in February 2018.
A couple of days ago, he was also confirmed to be leading upcoming JTBC drama “The Third Charm” along with rising actress Esom.
Its a romantic comedy about a 12-year saga of a relationship, following a couple who fell in love at the age of 20 all the way to 32.
Seo Kang Joon is taking on the role of On Joon Young, a careful human who is all about planning; he never deviates from his schedule. At 20 years old, he was the clean-cut model student who sports geeky glasses. The only thing that doesn’t go according to his plans is his relationship with Lee Young Jae, a female he meets at a group blind date by chance.
“The Third Charm” will be directed by director Pyo Min Soo, whose previous works include “Full House,” “Worlds Within,” “Fool’s Love,” and “Producer.” The drama is scheduled to premiere in September.
6Gong Seung Yeon wasn’t paid for KBS 2TV’s “Master: God of Noodles”
In late 2017 and early 2018 a lot of actors and actresses spoke up about what appears to be something that they all struggle with, not being paid for their work on dramas.
Actress Gong Seung Yeon was one of the actresses who wasn’t paid for her appearance in KBS 2TV’s “Master: God of Noodles.” The drama aired in 2016, and it has been more than 2 years since it ended.
Fans were infuriated when they heard the news; she was not the only actress struggling with this. Kim Woo Bin, Ku Hye Sun, and Kim Min Jung also haven’t been paid for some of the works they’ve been in.
Despite the fact that Gong Seung Yeon wasn’t paid, her agency never revealed that exact amount.
7Gong Seung Yeon Was A Part Of SM Entertainment
Gong Seung Yeon is one of the top rising actresses these days. Despite her success, she was supposed to debut as an actress in an SM Entertainment girl group.
The actress revealed that she trained for a long time before she switched agencies in 2012 and landed her first acting gig.
“I didn’t have a lot of talent as a trainee. I couldn’t dance or sing. As a trainee, it was hard to overcome those obstacles.”

Lee Joon Hyuk is a generous actor who gives back to society.
Lee Joon Hyuk played the role of a firefighter in “Naked Fireman” back in 2017; it was revealed that he donated all his earnings of the drama to charity. He empathized with the professional difficulties of firefighters, so he decided to donate all his earnings.
His agency added,
“It was supposed to be a quiet affair, so it’s embarrassing that it got revealed.”
Lee Joon Hyuk plays a dedicated firefighter named Kang Chul Soo in KBS’s “Naked Fireman.”

The cast of “Are You, Human, Too” have great dynamics on and off screen, the cast talked about their first impressions of each other in a past broadcast.
Lee Joon Hyuk revealed that he felt jealous when he found out that Seo Kang Joon can eat without gaining weight, he said,
“I’m so envious because it seems like even when Seo Kang Joon eats a lot, he doesn’t gain weight. I gain weight when I eat.”
Seo Kang Joon partially denied that but then sweetly replied,
“I also gain weight if I eat a lot, but if I don’t eat for a day, then it comes off.”
10Park Hwan Hee Is A Single Mother
Park Hwan Hee has a petite body and many fans mistake her for a younger person that her actual age, she is actually 27 years old.
Fans were shocked when they found out that she was once married to rapper Vasco, she married him back in 2011 but divorced him 15 months later. They have a son together.
