Shawn Mendes attended the 2018 Billboard Music Awards on May 20th alongside many other international artists including BTS.
On the red carpet, Billboard’s Chelsea Briggs had the chance to catch up with the singer; he talked about many things and also shared hopes of collaborating with BTS.
He had previously expressed his interest of collaborating with BTS in 2017 when he attended the AMAs (American Music Awards), he talked about how beautiful they were and shared hopes of collaborating with the group.
Fast forward to 2018, he expressed his love for BTS once again, when asked if he wants to collaborate with them he said,
“A thousand percent. I just need to find the time to do it…I think that when I watched them perform the first time, I was the most blown away I’ve ever been in my whole life. It’s crazy.”
BTS has had a cute interaction with the popular singer on Twitter last week; in an interview with Billboard they also expressed their love for the singer.
