The upcoming OCN Wednesday-Thursday “Hand: The Guest” will be led by Kim Dong Wook, Kim Jae Wook, And Jung Eun Chae.

The drama is written by won So Ra and Seo Jae Woon and directed by Kim Hong Sun, the director had previously worked with Kim Jae Wook in the popular OCN drama “Voice.”

“Hand: The Guest” tells the story of a psychic, a priest, and a detective who work together to solve bizarre crimes that happen in Korean society, The combination of exorcism and shamanism will add to the fun as Korean-style real exorcism drama chasing evil spirits in darkness in the distorted human heart evolves.

Kim Dong Wook will play the role of Yoon Hwa Pyung, who was born with psychic powers; he uses his powers to act as a shaman and has strong commitment to exorcising evil spirits, his own free spirit hides in a dark heart.

Kim Jae Wook is taking on the role of Choi Yoon, he is cold and cynical priest who has a strong will, he has a sense of evil which makes him the ideal exorcist. He does not want to be deeply involved with other people; he deliberately drives people away with his bad manners.

Jung Eun Chae is taking on the role of Kang Gil Young, she is detective in the serious crime squad, she has passion for her job and is very talented. She is tough on criminals but has an approachable character, but she doesn’t believe in super natural things. Despite that, she becomes involved in the exorcisms world after meeting Choi Yoon and Yoon Hwa Pyung.

“Hand: The Guest” is planning to air some time in September, it will be the first OCN drama to air Wednesdays and Thursdays.

My Thoughts

I love OCN!

The plot seems so interesting; I love how OCN isn’t afraid of approaching the subject of exorcism. I have high expectations; the same director that worked on Voice (one of my favorite 2017 dramas) is working on this one.

Besides, anything Kim Jae Wook immediately pulls me in! I love the actor and think that he’s highly underrated and deserves more recognition, I loved him as the serial killer in Voice, it was so good and he is hella entertaining, not to mention, the guy is handsome!

Jung Eun Chae is one of my new favorite actresses, I saw her in “Return” earlier this year, I immediately fell in love with her character and her dedication. She is a good actress and this unlikely pair is going to be interesting.

Kim Dong Wook has come a far way from his “Coffe Prince” days. He and Kim Jae Wook have previously worked together, do you guys remember?
