Jung Hae In was interviewed recently; he addressed rumors of a romantic relationship between him and his co-star Son Ye Jin.
In the interview he spoke about his recently concluded drama “Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food,” the two actors drew national and international attention for their chemistry throughout the drama run-time.
The chemistry was so realistic that Son Ye Jin recently noted in an interview, “People don’t ask me, ‘Are you dating?’ They ask, ‘You’re dating, right?’ or ‘I heard you were dating’ without any introductions.”
When Son Ye Jin was asked about the possibility of them dating, she replied,
“I’d like Jung Hae In to answer that question instead.”
Jung Hae In was also bombarded with similar questions, when asked about it he said,
“People around me keeping asking me ‘why don’t you date?’ or ‘if you date, I’ll support you.’ me and Ye Jin noona even talked about it.
However, what we filmed for was a drama not a documentary. Those feelings are fiction and lies. Despite that I tried my best to act with all sincerity. The positive reactions we received proved me that my sincerity was received well.”
He then vaguely added,
“Then again, you never know what might happen.”
He also talked about how his relationship with his sunbae changed and how they became closer while filming, he said,
“Son Ye Jin is not an intimidating senior actor that I feel awkward around, but a close noona whom I can easily talk to, someone who listens to my thoughts. I hope that a year from now, we’ll still be in touch and contact each other freely.”
