INFINITE’s Sunggyu has officially enlisted in the military!
On May 14 around 1 p.m. KST, he was spotted with a short buzz cut entering the 22nd Infantry Division training center.
Sunggyu wished to enlist quietly therefore he didn’t do any interviews but simply bowed and waved to fans saying ‘thank you.’ No INFINITE member could come say goodbye to him since they’re all in Russia for an event.
He will receive five weeks of basic training before he continues to serve as an active duty soldier. He will be discharged in 2020.
Ahead of his enlistment he gifted fans with a live version of his song ‘Don’t Move’ from his first solo concert “Shine” which he held earlier this month.
