Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food

The upcoming JTBC drama stars Son Ye Jin, Jung Hae In, Gil Hae Yeon, Oh Man Suk, Jang So Yeon, and many others.

The drama will tell the story of two people who were only acquaintances but end up falling in love.

Jung Hae In will take on the role of Seo Joon Hee, he is a character designer at a computer video game company. He returned to Korea for the first time in three years since working overseas. He wasn’t sure whether he’d stay in Korea because of the relatively free life abroad but he changes his mind when he meets Yoon Jin Ah (Son Ye Jin). He tries to not make it obvious that he’s interested but he can’t take his eyes off of her.





Son Ye Jin is taking on the role of Yoon Jin Ah, a store supervisor of a coffee shops business. She lives her life by the motto, “As long as things are good, life is good.” Despite that life motto, she feels empty because she failed to achieve anything during her 30s.

She meets her best friend’s younger brother, who has returned from working overseas, she realizes he’s no longer that immature boy she remembers.

“Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food” will be directed by Ahn Pan Seok, the director has previously worked on many projects such as like “Secret Love Affair,” “A Wife’s Credentials,” and “Heard It Through the Grapevine.”

The upcoming drama will air after “Misty” concludes; it will air its first episode on March 30.


Miracle That We Met

“Miracle That We Met” tells the story of an average man who suddenly and unexpectedly finds himself in the body of another man, they both share the same name and age but have nothing else in common.

The drama is led by Kim Myung Min and Go Chang Suk (who play the two men with the mixed souls), Kim Hyun Joo and Ra Mi Ran, who will take on the roles of their wives.

Kai is playing the role of Ato, the messenger who makes the crucial mistake of changing the fate of these two men.

“Miracle That We Met” will air its first episode after “Radio Romance” wraps up.

It will air its first episode on April 2nd, 2018.


Suits

The highly anticipated drama made headlines for its main cast which includes Jang Dong Gun and Park Hyung Sik, it is a remake of the popular American law drama with the same title.

The American series has eight seasons to date and is still going strong; people have high expectations of the upcoming Korean remake.

“Suits” tells the story of Choi Kang Seok (Jang Dong Gun), a legendary lawyer at the top law firm in South Korea. He has charisma and an attractive appearance. He hires Go Yeon Woo (Park Hyung Sik) as a rookie lawyer for the law firm. Go Yeon Woo has excellent memory.

The main cast also includes Jin Hee Kyung, Chae Jung An, Go Sung Hee, and Choi Gui Hwa.

The upcoming drama will air its first episode on April 25; it will take over the time slot currently occupied by “Mystery Queen 2.”


Greasy Melo

Jang Hyuk, 2PM’s Junho and Jung Ryeo Won will lead the upcoming SBS drama “Greasy Melo.”

The three main leads have confirmed their appearance in the upcoming drama on the same day, on March 21st.

2PM’s Junho is taking on his first leading role in a major broadcasting station following his first lead role in cable channel JTBC with “Just Between Lovers,” he is set to take on the role of chef Soe Poong, he is talented and was very famous but due to a series of events he downgraded to a Chinese restaurant and his business is failing.





Jang Hyuk is taking on the role of Doo Chil Sung, a moneylender and someone who spent time in jail.

Jung Ryeo Won will take on the role of Dan Sae Woo, a chaebol daughter who refuses congratulatory wedding money but still takes a lot of money from her dad as a ‘wedding allowance.’ Her life changes after she stumbles upon a restaurant and eats a bowl of jajangmyun.

The drama is penned by writer Seo Sook Hyang whose previous works include “Jealousy Incarnate” and “Pasta.” It will be directed by the same director who worked on “Suspicious Partner.”

“Greasy Melo” will take on the time slot currently occupied by “Should We Kiss First,” it will air its first episode in April 16.


Mistress

The upcoming OCN drama made headlines for being Han Ga In’s comeback drama to the small screen.

Han Ga In is taking on the role of Trudi, she is playing the Korean counterpart which will be named Se Yeon.

Se Yeon is a single mother who lost her husband in an accident. In the Korean version, however, they plan on making her husband’s death a mystery.

The female cast also includes Shin Hyun Bin, Choi Hee Seo and Goo Jae Yee.

The four male leads are Lee Hee Joon, Oh Jung Se, Park Byung Eun, and Ji Il Joo.

The drama is a remake of the UK series with the same title, it tells the story of four women and their complicated relationships with men. The four women have four different careers, a café owner, psychiatrist, teacher, and law firm manager.





Their lives change forever when they become involved with series of murders.

Lee Hee Joon is taking on the role of Han Sang Hoon, a divorced parent and a friend of Jan Se Yeon’s (Han Ga In) daughter. He will be involved with Jan Se Yeon as will become close because of their children, they will show interest in each other and develop a relationship where they depend on each other during difficult times.

Oh Jung Se will be playing Jang Se Yeon’s late husband Kim Young Dae, he is a kind father and a husband, after working in trade and going back and forth between China and Korea, he dies in mysterious circumstances, leaving his wife and child behind.

Park Byung Eun is taking on the role of Hwang Dong Seok, Han Jung Won (Choi Hee Seo) husband. He met his wife after going through difficult times, he is now a successful famous chef who often guest on cooking shows. They have healthy relationship and they wish to have a child.

Ji Il Joo is taking on the role of Kwon Min Kyu, a teacher and a friend of Han Jung Won. He has shown that he has interest in her and one day when she is disappointed by her husband, she spends the night with him.

The upcoming OCN drama will be directed by Han Ji Seung and written by Go Jung Woon and Kim Jin Wook. It will air in April 28 and will take over the time slot which is currently occupied by “Children of a Lesser God.”
