Lee Joon’s Agency Responds To Outrageous Report Claiming He Attempted To Commit Suicide

Today, fans heard some very scary news coming out from a news outlet named Seoul Shinmun, the news outlet claimed that Lee Joon has attempted to commit suicide by slitting his wrist and informing the supervisor officer of that.

According to the news outlet, the actor-idol was taken to the army’s “Green Camp” program, a program that helps soldiers who struggle with adjusting to military life.

Lee Joon’s agency Prain TPC initially released a short statement asking people not to speculate and letting them know that they will first check with the idol before making an official longer statement addressing the subject, while a military source released a comment explaining that they cannot deny nor confirm the reports.




Following those huge misleading allegations, Lee Joon’s agency Prain TPC a long statement saying,

“The reports claiming that Lee Joon has hurt his wrist are false, he didn’t attempt to commit suicide, he’s also not in the ‘Green Camp’ currently. Those rumors are false. We have confirmed this after checking with Lee Joon’s family.

Lee Joon’s family is extremely shocked by the false reports that were published, we ask media outlets to refrain from covering these reports out of respect for Lee Joon and his family.”

Lee Joon enlisted in the military back in October 2017, he has been serving as the 8th Battalion. He’s even received a commendation of excellence while in basic military training program.

He has been adjusting well to the military life, those false reports took fans by storm, we’re glad that he’s fine. Lee Joon will be discharged on July 23, 2019.
