On February 19, the 1993 born actor entered the 1st Division recruit training center in Paju.
The actor was smiling and said that he was rather excited and not worried as many had assumed. He also asked fans not to worry about him.
When asked if he had received any advice of his celebrity friends, he mentioned that Park Seo Joon and Kim Soo Hyun gave him advices on entering the military, he said,
“Kim Soo Hyun hyung told me a lot of helpful things, I called him when he was on breaks and he helped me out.”
The actor had posted a couple of photos ahead of his military enlistment. He shared a photo of his shaved hair made into a message that read, “Come back safely.” He also shared a selfie with his new haircut.
In his last social media post ahead of his enlistment, he shared a photo with some of his close friends, he mentioned UNIQ’s Sungjoo and Seungyoun, Dean, and Lee Seo Won who couldn’t be there and expressed his love for them.
After five weeks of basic training, he will serve as an active duty soldier.
