The fans parodied of Red Velvet’s “Red Flavor.” Yeri then posted a sweet message to the fans expressing her gratitude to those who showed up to the event and cheered her on, she wrote,

“Your throats hurt a lot, right?

I am well aware of the warm and concerned looks you’ve been giving me guys, and I know today you cheered me on a lot harder to make me smile.

To be honest, its still hard for me to smile from the bottom of my heart. I missed you all, so I tried my best to take it all in…

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about a lot of things, whatever I choose, I think its better when I get to meet you guys face to face.

For the first time in a while, I smiled today. Thank you so much for your waving arms and loud cheers from the top of your lungs. All those things, all of you guys, you are my happiness, we’re such great friends.”

We’re glad that Yeri’s feeling better these days!

My Thoughts

The poor girl. Its hard on all of us, and its especially hard on all of those who knew him personally.

Yeri seemed to be one of the very affected idols by the incident. She even stood ahead near his coffin while the stars were waving goodbye to him one last time, which caused a stir on its own.

I believe she loved him and respected him a lot. She’s a little kid still. I am glad Korean fans were so supportive of her.

Its okay if she can’t smile for now. This wasn’t easy, she shouldn’t try so hard to smile and appear okay. God bless her and God bless all those who made her smile on January 16.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
