The SBS popular drama “While You Were Asleep” was one of the most anticipated and beloved kdramas of 2017.
The drama is Suzy and Lee Jong Suk’s first drama collaboration, both national and international fans were head over heels for the pairing, the couple chemistry during the drama runtime was nothing short of amazing.
2017 SBS Drama Awards were held last night, all of “While You Were Asleep” cast was in attendance. The drama and its cast walked away with a total of five awards that night.
Lee Jong Suk won Best Actor (Wednesday & Thursday drama) while Suzy won Best Actress (Wednesday & Thursday drama).
Lee Sang Yeob also won his first SBS award with Excellent Actor (Wednesday & Thursday drama).
Kim Won Hae also won the Best Supporting Actor award, a much-deserved award for the amazing actor who gave his all for the drama.
And out of all the couples nominated for Best couple award, it was Suzy and Lee Jong Suk who ended up winning that award.
