BTS also won a Bongsang award at the 27th Seoul Music Awards, but what made the awards show special was that this was their first time winning a Daesang award at Seoul Music Awards. The group won other Daesangs at many awards shows in late 2017 early 2018 such as in Mnet Asian Music Awards, Melon Music Awards, and Golden Disc Awards.

The group members were very happy when their name was announced for the grand prize, among loud cheers of army, the group marched forward to take center, again, the group leader RM took the stage first and thanked the fans, Army for their continuous support.

RM also pointed out that he thinks their army started liking them because of small things. He said,

“My start was because of small things. I just liked music, or I wanted to express myself or someone on stage looked cool. I think the six other members were like this as well. That’s what brought us here today.”

RM then explained to fans that they’re the reason they continue to make music and thanked them again. Suga also thanked fans for their continuous support, he promised fans that they have a lot of ‘simple’ great projects coming up.

BTS also shared a string of photos to their official twitter account, take a look at the cute photos and selfies below!

Congratulations to BTS once again!

My Thoughts

It must be nice to be a part of such fandom at such times. I love the amount of support and cheers the boys got. They did well and pushed boundaries. They came from a small company and they made it this far, in an industry where it seems almost impossible for any other group from lesser known companies to make it, BTS and Big Hit came and proved everyone wrong.

I don’t listen to their music as you guys may already know, but I like the members, their artistry and respect them a lot. RM always delivers the best speeches, and it looks like 2018 is already shaping out to be BTS’s year.

I am interested in seeing what more boundaries the boys will tear down. Its an interesting event to witness.

Congrats to the sweet boys once again from a distant admirer![/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
