Ku Hye Sun waves goodbye to YG Entertainment as they part way 14 years after being together.
On December 12, YG Entertainment released a statement confirming the actress has decided not to renew her contract with the label, they said,
“We have agreed to refrain from renewing the contract with Ku Hye Sun out of respect to the actress decision, the actress whom we’ve trusted and had a special heart to for about 14 years.
We wish Ku Hye Sun health and happiness with her new activities, and will cheer her on as always.”
The 33-year-old actress has been a part of YG Entertainment since she left DSP Media after plans of debuting in a girl group fell through.
The actress has been diagnosed with a severe, allergic digestive dysfunction earlier 2017, and has been focusing on regaining her health.
However, the actress hasn’t been away from the spotlight, she recently finished directing an upcoming short film called “Mystery Pink,” starring her good friend Seo Hyun Jin along with Yang Dong Geun.
