On October 19, following the tragic sudden death of SHINee’s lead singer Jonghyun, it was revealed that the four remaining SHINee members will be conducting his funeral.
This came as a surprise since this role is usually performed by close relatives of the deceased. The five SHINee members have known each other for such a long time and were known to share a close bond, and since Jonghyun had no brothers, the four remaining members will be handling this duty.
