Two years after the huge plagiarism controversy involving Yoon Eun Hye, she decided to apologize for the entire matter.
Yoon Eun Hye agency said,
“The plagiarism issue should’ve been handled in a quick and timely matter, but it wasn’t done so. As an agency, we failed to handle the situation correctly; the poor handling was our biggest mistake.”
This plagiarism issue dates back to 2015; Yoon Eun Hye had participated in a Chinese fashion competition show that she ended up winning the first place in for her white coat.
She then was accused of plagiarising the white coat which was similar to another Korean designer’s. She was given a hard time back then for the poor and late explanations she provided.
The actress has only recently made her comeback to Korean variety shows for the first time in two years. She appeared on tvN’s “Dear My Human” back on November 15.
The actress has reportedly never mentioned the controversy while filming on set.
