One of 2017’s biggest rising stars Jung Hae In sat down for an interview to talk about his upcoming movie, “Conspiracy-Age of Rebellion.”
Jung Hae In has served in the military back when he was 21 years old, he opened up about debuting at an older age in compassion to many actors around him, he said,
“I served the mandatory military service back when I was 21 years old (Korean age). Some other male actors might be jealous of me since I’ve already finished it.
I’ve even finished with the reserve forces. In fact there is nothing to be jealous about, since army is just another place people live in.
Those who are famous and wealthy may not want to go, as it creates long resting period.”
The actor then talked about how he developed his passion for acting, he pointed out that army service was a precious time for him that helped him figure out what he wants to do with his life, which was acting. He said,
“I thought that acting was what I wanted to do and so I did when I left the army, it didn’t matter whether I succeeded or failed, I went for it, so I lost 12 kgs in the army.
I then graduated school and joined my agency; I debuted back when I was 26 years old, which I was told was late. That was also the age when I first started working.”
Jung Hae In also talked about his “While You Were Asleep” co-stars Lee Jong Suk and Shin Jae Ha, whom he’d bonded with after starring in the drama together.
He talked about the photos he uploaded to his Instagram, he smiled and commented,
“There were more photos. That was just the tip of the iceberg.”
He also talked about his admiration for Lee Jong Suk, he says that although he’s older than him, he sometimes felt younger, and he had learned a lot from him, he added,
“Lee Jong Suk has to enlist in the military soon and is thinking about it a lot, I haven’t shared my personal experience with him yet. We’re comfortable around each other but don’t talk about it.
He’s charming, mature and has a lot of affection. He is a mature guy but also likes to act cute sometimes.”
Jung Hae In is the cutest isn’t he?
