Seems like Lee Seung Gi might become busy as soon as he exits the army.
The actor has been offered the leading role in the upcoming Hong sisters drama, the drama titled “Hwayugi” is set to air this upcoming December on tvN.
But since news of casting offer for the actor spread, tvN clarified that he was only offered the role and is yet to accept or deny it. Nothing has been confirmed yet.
Park Bo Gum was offered the leading role previously and he had decided to turn it down, signalling fans to wait for him a bit more for a comeback drama.
The upcoming drama “Hwayugi” retells the story of the ancient novel “Journey to the West.” It’s a fantasy romance about fighting evil spirits and discovering the dark world. Actor Cha Seung Won is playing the role of the successful businessman and celebrity.
Lee Seung Gi will be discharged from the military on October 31.
