The quirkiness and the funny plot line captured many kdrama fans who tune in to see Nam Joo hyuk’s comeback project following the international success of Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo.
This also marks Nam Joo hyuk’s first comeback project since he announced his relationship with fellow labelmate Lee Sung Kyung.
But the drama cast is more than Nam Joo hyuk, it also includes the talented Shin Se Kyung, Krystal and Gong Myung.
Check out the full video below of all the 13 facts of the cast and then once you’re done come back here to read my review of the drama.

My Thoughts On The Drama
The drama is okay… I said it before and I will say it again, this drama concept is difficult to deal with and can come off very stupid and cliché if done wrong.
The original manhwa was based in historical time, but this drama is a modern adaptation of it. Is it a great drama in my opinion?
Don’t get me wrong, I am not a hater or someone who hates any of the cast, I was excited but I was let down.
The drama is boring at times, and Nam Joo Hyuk’s performance is not up to standards, he is one strand away from looking too ridiculous while portraying the role of Habaek.
His character is unlikable, intolerable, and outright rude and annoying (according to human standards), his character makes little effort to try and adapt, its annoying, he is not a character you can easily like.
I am honestly also not liking Shin Se Kyung character one bit, (spoiler alert) she now has two people fighting for her attention when she was once neglected and hated by everybody.
She is a character who is out of her mind and can hardly keep her shit together when she’s supposedly a psychiatrist, she is noisy and all over the place.
Here is the problem with the plot, as a writer myself, I find the adaptation of very low standards. The main two characters are very hard to like.
Now as a writer, you should try your best to make your characters appeal to the audience in order to have them stick around to watch, if the main character is cocky and annoying and spits non sense most of the time, he’s hard to like.
If the main character is so stereotypical, boring and always in need of help, its also a problem.
Your basic Korean drama plot, a female struggling character gets saved by two gentlemen one who is a jerk but then starts liking her and one who is a nice guy who gets friendzoned, another spoiler alert… you girls know it, she ends up falling for the rude guy even when there is nothing to like about him except for his looks.
Shin Se Kyung’s character is always in need of help, in each episode each week, habaek ends up saving her and saving the day as well, I can’t imagine having to sit through this entire drama with the same plot repeating itself each episode.
This drama offers nothing new, and its sad because all the actors are talented but we’re stuck with such a basic script. I am still in shock of how on earth Nam Joo Hyuk took on this drama….
Krystal and Gong Myung characters are far more interesting than the main two characters of Nam Joo Hyuk or Shin Se Kyung, yet they get such little screen time its almost a crime.
Now if you’re a fan of anyone of the main cast you’ll probably have fun watching this drama, but for me it continues to be a struggle, its not bad bad, but its not THAT good or THAT interesting for me to keep watching.
It is by far one of the most disappointing dramas of 2017, and 2017 has been a good year for dramas mostly, but I am still disappointed in this drama after watching it so far.
So what do you guys think of it? Did you like it? Did it live up to your expectations?
