“Coffee Prince” is considered one of the best and biggest Korean dramas of all time, but can you believe it? It has almost been 10 years since the drama came out and today, we’re taking a lookback at the cast members and how their lives have changed in those past 10 years.

The drama also helped establish the hallyu wave outside of Korea, alongside “Sorry I love you”, “Sad love story” and many others, “Coffee Prince” was able to garner so much attention from many people around the world.

Yoon Eun Hye has been doing well for herself since the drama finished airing, but she has been wrapped up in controversy in 2015.

She had ventured out to the Chinese market, acted in a movie and was dearly loved by the Chinese audience, and even went on to appear on a fashion design competition show and won first place multiple times.

After those wins a Korean fashion designer accused her of plagiarising his coat, saying that the coat she won one of the competitions with was too similar to his design.

After that many more designer came out and spoke up about Yoon Eun Hye plagiarizing their designs as well, which explains why we haven’t heard much of her ever since 2015.

But luckily to all her fans, and back in September 2016, it was announced that Yoon Eun Hye is thinking of making her drama comeback and it is to air in 2017.

A representative from her label said:

“Though it hasn’t been decided whether she’ll make a comeback by the end of the year, we’re thinking she’ll be returning in early 2017. It’s possible she’ll be starring in dramas, movies, and other platforms.”

Kim Chang Wan has always been busy, he is one of the most respected veteran actors in the industry who’s been in many great dramas since “Coffee Prince.”

He starred in “My love from the stars” as Kim Soo Hyun friend, and he also starred in “The Good Doctor,” “Miss Ripley” and many many more.

Kim Jae Wook

https://www.jazminemedia.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/14-FACTS-5-1.png

Kim Jae Wook has always been interesting who took his time with his comeback dramas but he recently starred in the hit OCN drama “Voice.”

Sadly he dropped out of the drama and made his last appearance on the 8th episode. This had me both angry and frustrated, I watched the drama and aside from all the controversy surrounding Kim Hyun Joong I enjoyed his performance in it.

I was not happy and shocked this has happened… and guess what, it took him 3 years to decide it was time he shows us his beautiful face again.

Kim Jae Wook has the acting chops and the looks to become a hallyu star, but he never peaked. His most famous role was in Coffee prince perhaps, but to me I prefer him as the amazingly terrifying character he is in the VOICE.

He showed me and everyone how good of an actor he is, and I hope that by the end of VOICE we get to see him venture out to more amazing projects.

With Kim Jae Wook it feels like something went wrong somewhere, I always excepted of him to become very HUGE, but he never did, and after coffee prince I don’t he think he even tried challenging himself, not even one bit.

His most recent movie called “Another way” was only released 2 months ago, and it will shock you to know that he has actually shot that in early 2015, it took them 2 years to finally consider releasing his movie.

https://www.jazminemedia.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/14-FACTS-5-1.png

Sadly, and as expected the movie is not heard of or seen, I don’t even think anyone tried to promote it.

Kim Jae Wook puzzles me and I would like to see more of him everywhere, the more Kim Jae Wook there is the better.

And last but not least and I had to leave this till the end because it’s sad news.

Lee Eon

https://www.jazminemedia.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/14-FACTS-5-1.png

After “Coffee Prince” actor Lee Eon had a bright career ahead of him, sadly, his life was cut short. Before his untimely passing, he appeared in three more kdramas playing a supporting role, and his last project became “Chilwu, the Mighty.”

Lee Eon passed away on the 21st of August 2008, almost a year after “Coffee Prince” was released.

Lee Eon was driving back to his house on his motor cycle and crashed into guardrail, and almost immediately died.

Did you watch “Coffee Prince”? Who was your favorite character? And don’t you think its time you close this tab and marathon coffee prince? Imma do that too 😉
